When compared to regular glass, borosilicate is safe for initial piercing, resistant to chemicals, scratch- resistant, less susceptible to fractures, resistant to thermal shock, and not poured into molds. All our glass jewelry is handcrafted in St. Louis, Missouri.

Care Instructions
MM Glassworks strictly uses borosilicate glass that is hand made in the USA. Borosilicate Glass is scratch resistant but still fragile and should be treated as such. All glass is guaranteed to arrive scratch and breakage free. We will package each order in a foam insulated box free of charge. Borosilicate glass is autoclavable. Do not use harsh chemicals on any jewelry. Do not wear in the shower or while swimming. Wash with antibacterial soap, but take caution while removing; glass will break if dropped on tile or cement.
I've just finished purchasing my 4th? maybe 5th? pair of these and have now worn them at least 2 years at this point. I've lost a few down the drain bc I'm too lazy to take them out before I shower, but that's completely on me. I love these because I'm SO ALLERGIC to almost anything other material and they let me safely participate without irritation. Also LOVE the color choices (I go for clear and periwinkle for girliness). Thanks so much for being the shining beacon in my quest to have cute little tunnels in my ears.
These are literally the most comfortable tunnels I've ever had. I feel like I could do almost anything in these, even sleep comfortably. They are great for extended wear, they look sleek and classic, but still stand out in a crowd. A++

I purchased the 8g size and they are perfect! I just started stretching my ears and I had been wanting tunnels because my ears get infected immediately with normal earrings but I still wanted to wear cute earrings and change them out. The glass is perfect and allows me to be able to wear hoops now! I plan on purchasing the black ones next. Also these arrived a day earlier than expected!

I bought this pair for my 4g conch, and 4g septum, both freshly stretched. The tunnels are so lightweight I sometimes frantically check to see if they’re still there. And they are, lol. They’re incrediblyyy comfortable, can’t stress that enough, and have made my healing process smoother.
